Our Story
- Cen-Tex Plating Co. was started in 1960 by Clifford Brown to bring quality recycled bumpers to the people of Austin Texas. Over the years we have expanded our services to chrome plating, metal polishing, truck accessories and aftermarket parts. We have remained a family owned, family operated business and strive to provide excellent service to each and every customer. We value and appreciate every customer and customer service and quality are our top priority.

- DECORATIVE PLATING - We have been chrome plating and metal polishing for over 45 years. We offer triple plate Chrome plating, Copper plating, and polished or satin Nickel plating. Our metal finishing services also include metal polishing for brass, copper, stainless steel and aluminum. We strive to be the best so when you are adding that last piece of chrome to your project you'll never have a second thought on whether or not you chose the right chrome shop to handle your classic and antique parts.
- TRUCK ACCESSORIES - At Cen-Tex Plating we offer a wide variety of aftermarket truck accessories, including grill guards, bed-liners, steps, hitches, lights, bed covers and many more that are available for most makes and models of pickups. These accessories are competitively priced and will make your truck look outstanding whether you are off-roading or just want a great looking truck. - METAL POLISHING - Our metal polishers have decades of experience when it comes to refinishing your unique or hard to find items, that are in need of a good polish to make them look like they did when they were first purchased. Items which we specialize in are often made of brass, copper, aluminum, steel, or die cast.
